[Said Vaporeon is currently paddling in the large pond behind the Gym in Violet City. Saionji is sitting at the edge and pouting. Her Petilil is hopping up and down the road bobbing sweets and biscuits on its head from... god knows where to Saionji, but always ends up having to go back to town for more because it gets splashed in the face and dragged into the water by the Vaporeon frequently. Saionji doesn't seem to care much.

Team Rocket is what I've been thinking, and they're not usually too smart. Most of them are idiot natives who couldn't plot their way out of a paper bag. I don't know why they didn't keep the Pokemon, but did everyone else you talked to have theirs evolved?

I just posted this, so there's some who haven't replied yet- but I've got two other people besides. Ehhhh... one had a Vulpix evolved, and it's looking like a mess right now. Another implied the same thing happened, but they haven't gotten back to me.

So it sounds like Team Rocket. What, did they go 'let's go something nice!' and decide forcibly evolving Pokémon anonymously was the way to go?
