❀ 2nd Konpeito ❀ [Video]
[When the video switches on, she's holding a book- on Pokémon, and sitting in the corner of the Dangan House. There's a paper in her hands, and if you squint, you can make out frantic scrawling in Japanese all over the other side of it, written with a heavy hand- there's imprints on the paper.
Her Mawile is sleeping on the beanbag next to her, and a Petilil carries more books to her obediently. When Saionji takes them, said Petilil goes to bother Ayani instead.] You know... I've been thinking, and... it's so stupidly pitiful.
[A pause. She doesn't elaborate.] ...And what's a legendary Pokémon?

It's great that you know all this stuff, but I don't think it's going to give you much of an advantage out here. I'm sure a wild Snover's not going to give much of a damn if it looks like some mythical creature from Japan or not.
The people who live here won't have any idea what you're talking about, most likely. So in the end, you just have a bunch of pointless trivia that won't help you become a Pokemon Master.
I guess you'll have some good stories to share around a campfire, though.

-okay that makes sense now that she thinks about it but Saionji isn't going to give in]
Ehhh?! How... [-dare you?] -pitiful. That this place needs to take a neutral stance for the poooor foreigners, when it's clear as day it was built for the Japanese!
Well, whatever. Even without it, I'd still be able to make it big! Just like the world before!

Even you.

She's been considering that since she arrived, but once she marked the similarities with Japan she simply fell lax. Now, though...]
I- I'm less of a foreigner, still...! [You might've hit the nail on the head there.]
no subject
[ Takes a drag from his cigarette before exhaling. ]
Like I said, this place might be similar, but it's not Japan. The people here aren't Japanese. [ He gives a smug look. ] You get to start off at rock bottom with the rest of us poor foreigners.

Unfortunately...]

WAAAAAH! You're j-just being mean, you greasy old man! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

[ Rude. ]
Hey, don't cry.... [ Goddammit. ]

Uuu... it's not fair! Everyone is against me, even here! And you're o-older too! Big meanie!

Uuugh... I'm not even asking for people to be my ally anymore, just not to be against me! [...Technically, if you're not her ally, you're against her, but...] I want you to make it up to me!
no subject
Why the hell should I make it up to you? [ You gotta be kidding... He rubs his forehead. ]
no subject
[Apparently, it's impossible to reason with her.]
no subject
Most people don't give spoiled brats like you the time of day, let alone try to make it up to them.
no subject
...
Fine. [That comes more easily than expected. Even for Saionji herself.] But I'll force you to make up one day!
no subject
If we ever cross paths, then sure. Why not.
no subject
I'll learn how to beat you and your Pokémon up till you have to do your bidding before we do, then!
no subject
Huh. Sure thing, kid. What's your name anyway?
no subject
What's yours, then?
no subject
Snake.
no subject
[A weird grin.] I'll call you Old Noodle, then! [welp]
no subject
What the hell kind of name is that?
no subject
Or do you want Old Shrimp instead? That does have a better ring to it! [Snake in Japanese is hebi, which sounds like ebi, which means shrimp. Whoops.]
no subject
What's wrong with just Snake? [ I don't want either of these nicknames! ]
