If Muk goo is anything like some other unfortunate things I've had to deal with, you may want to try and get olive oil (or baby oil would work as well I suppose) and have it put where the grime meets your hair. Then you'll have to carefully comb it all out.

Oh, but you should be sure to wear old clothing or something you don't much care for. It can get a bit messy! There's more you have to do, after all. Rubbing alcohol should get anything remaining out, but I've heard hand sanitizer can do in a pinch! Which makes sense, doesn't it?
