[Late in the night of March 10th, an unholy hour for any interaction... this lovely face comes online.
...What is with this girl and terrible network posts...
In any case, her eyes are suspiciously red. Was she crying? Yes, she was. Not anymore, though. She seems pretty okay now. If 'horribly angry' is classified as okay for Saionji at this point.]
This has gone too damn far! This time, when I find out who stole my Lilligant, Nako, even torture won't be enough for you! I'll roast you alive in three different ways and end you every time you come back!
[...Yeah. There's a little pause as she sniffs and her commanding stance falters, but hell no is she crying.] It was my birthday yesterday... uuu... how can you be so cruel...
VIDEO: FILTERED FROM NANAMI CHIAKI
...If the thief wants to own up and stop delaying their punishment, they can find me at Goldenrod Inn. Don't expect me to go easy on you for admitting, though. Otherwise, I would... like... [...POLITENESS HOW DO] ...someone to teach me how to make chocolate cake before March 14th.
[Whew, that was all said in one breath. It was a nicely phrased request, oddly enough- she really needs to learn, okay. There's a pause.] I'll pay you. [Another pause.] And don't say a peep of this to Big Sis Nanami if you want to stay healthy!
ACTION
[And she is, indeed, hanging out in Goldenrod Inn instead of the Danganhouse. Room 142, actually. If you decide you have the patience and sheer courage to teach this kid how to bake, she'll come down and hog an empty spot in the inn's kitchen immediately. The staff are pretty lax...]

Nnno, I haven't heard of that.
And I....I dunno, why?

Figured, you don't know enough to guess. [Sigh.] The dad went crazy in order to distract attention and protect his daughter from a perverted erotic company!
In the story, the big villain gets but on trial, and everyone lives happily ever after. But, though you might not think it, real life doesn't work that way.
Not everyone gets a happy ending! And not my own dad. [Wait backtrack what-] Because he did that, my grandma had to evict my parents from our clan, and away from me. Family pride is everything to her... she'd much rather disown her children than carry the stain of a crazed son.
[...Well, Jimmy?] Of course, Granny takes super good care of me! But I guess that's expected, since I'm the Heiress.

[This time, Jimmy takes a bit longer to respond, stiffly folding his hands in his lap. Even Leader's attention has been grabbed, who otherwise was ignoring the conversation entirely.]
So....your dad?....
[It wasn't going to be hard in the first place, but you have legitimately made Jimmy feel bad for you, Saionji. Like, reeeally bad. Any shortcomings you've had with him, say, regarding fakey made up islands has suddenly been brushed under the rug entirely.]
I'm....real sorry. I don't have parents, so I don't know what that must've been like. ...Must've been awful.
[Jimmy doesn't say that with any sadness, either. He never lost his own- rather, he never knew them to begin with. They may as well never have existed.]

[...Look. Jimmy isn't exactly a child, but she can barely call him a teenager. People on murderisland, she could easily make fun of, because they got angry and stomped and cried and had reactions Saionji could predict.
The only time she's ever had someone try to kill her with kindness...] Don't have parents? That explains why you're so naive. That's no excuse now, though. There is the saying 'better to have loved and lost than never loved before', but it's really just bullshit some weakling cooked up to fill themselves with false self-fulfillment.
[Back to the point, though.] My dad had his life ruined, his reputation torn down and his existence snuffed out of everything he once possessed because he cared too much. [About her!]
So watch yourself, because from all I know, humans don't return kindness.
[OH]

...I....I will.
[Though he can't say he fully understands, he does know one thing for sure. If he were in Saionji's father's position, he probably would have done the same exact thing...or something similar, at the very least.]
....Just so you know...not all people you meet are gonna be like that, Saionji. There's a lot of bad people out there, but you can't forget that there are good ones, too.
video; filtered
[Don't expect her to be so kind again. But as with Big Bro Hinata, and now Jimmy... anyone who reminds her of her father gets off a bit more easily.
Just a bit.] I've met people I could call my allies! People who will back me up no matter what. [...Except one isn't here and she hasn't seen her father in years. Of course, Nanami might become one, but...] But humanity at its core is imperfect. They strive for the survival of themselves... that's nothing bad, per say. But if you don't develop some self-preservation too...
[...] Well, I'm tired of calling you something as bland as 'Jimmy'. What nickname should I think up for you? Inane-brain? Mr. Wet-behind-the-ears?
video; filtered
I dunno, those sound a lot like friends to me. ..But I guess I understand what you're saying. It's good to be kind to people, but you gotta be careful too...
[Or else you'll get really taken advantage of. Don't forget that, Jimbo.
At that he snickers.]
Pffff, Jimmy's just fine, really. ...Though Lucy does call me by my last name a lot...
video; filtered
But I don't want to call you Jimmy! [Pout.] Two-Shoes, though... like goody-two-shoes... whoever named you must've had some foresight towards how easily you'd be toyed with. It does have a ring to it.
video; filtered
So what makes a friend, and what makes an ally, then?
[ANSWER HIM THAT.]
Yaknow....I never really thought about it that way, but it kinda does! I can't remember where I got my name from, though....it's just always been Jimmy Two-Shoes.

A 'friend' is a term loosely tossed around- what the weak call each other. Friendships are just bonds over how pathetic they are and plots about how to overthrow those stronger! Friends go against each other constantly, breaking friendships and backstabbing each other... after all, most murders are committed amongst friends, compared to strangers!
[Heheh.] An ally is someone who will stick with you, no matter what the circumstance! They'll be at your side and back you up and support you. They don't care about what you do, but they'll work with you. When it's one-sided, they're vassals- but mutually, they're allies.
[Welp...] Never knew? [jesus christ kid how did u grow up]
video; filtered
[Saionji you really need to learn to lighten up a little g o s h.]
Mm, no! Like I said, I've just been called that for as long as I can remember. ..As long as I've been in Miseryville, anyway.
[Which has been basically forever, at least it feels that way. Presumably he lived somewhere before, because he remembered there being this stuff called snow...but that's about it.]
video; filtered
You better be doing 'whatever I say' soon, teehee! And a name like that, in a place called Miseryville?
Wow, you sound exactly like a story's... [Protagonist? Hero? Chosen One?] ...comic relief!
video; filtered
Naaah, that's prolly Beezy...
video; filtered
Are you sure? I mean, someone trying to be all nice while everyone is backstabbing and pillaging and doing whatever lives up to that name sounds pretty funny.
[no that just sounds sad]
video; filtered
Gosh, nothing like that happens in Miseryville!
video; filtered
[KINDA DISAPPOINTED TBH]
video; filtered
Well...lots of stuff! I mean how could it not with all the monsters around, and all the new inventions Heloise is making for Lucy to make people miserable...
[Jimmy, that's rather vague. It's more of a "let's make people miserable and have them despair for all eternity" sort of deal.
Ring any bells?]

Your world sounds more of a kid's game than this one is! Kyahahah! Yet another explanation for how hopelessly naive you are.
[A BIT TOO FAMILIAR, FRIEND...] Well, if there's nothing of interest in your world, I don't want to hear it. So will you help me look for Nako or not?
video; filtered
Y-yeah, of course I will! I'll let you know if I find her.
..What does she look like?
video; filtered
[...it's wilted. her garland is fucking wilted.]
Well, if you're going to find her, I have nothing more to talk to you about! You've exhausted me more than you should've already.
