[Late in the night of March 10th, an unholy hour for any interaction... this lovely face comes online.
...What is with this girl and terrible network posts...
In any case, her eyes are suspiciously red. Was she crying? Yes, she was. Not anymore, though. She seems pretty okay now. If 'horribly angry' is classified as okay for Saionji at this point.]
This has gone too damn far! This time, when I find out who stole my Lilligant, Nako, even torture won't be enough for you! I'll roast you alive in three different ways and end you every time you come back!
[...Yeah. There's a little pause as she sniffs and her commanding stance falters, but hell no is she crying.] It was my birthday yesterday... uuu... how can you be so cruel...
VIDEO: FILTERED FROM NANAMI CHIAKI
...If the thief wants to own up and stop delaying their punishment, they can find me at Goldenrod Inn. Don't expect me to go easy on you for admitting, though. Otherwise, I would... like... [...POLITENESS HOW DO] ...someone to teach me how to make chocolate cake before March 14th.
[Whew, that was all said in one breath. It was a nicely phrased request, oddly enough- she really needs to learn, okay. There's a pause.] I'll pay you. [Another pause.] And don't say a peep of this to Big Sis Nanami if you want to stay healthy!
ACTION
[And she is, indeed, hanging out in Goldenrod Inn instead of the Danganhouse. Room 142, actually. If you decide you have the patience and sheer courage to teach this kid how to bake, she'll come down and hog an empty spot in the inn's kitchen immediately. The staff are pretty lax...]

Jimmy, on the other hand, seems pretty concerned, all things considered.]
G...gosh Saionji, I'm really sorry! Is there anything I can do to help?
[He pauses for a moment, rubbing the back of his neck.]
...Happy birthday, by the way. ....
I'm actually gonna be in Goldenrod faster than I thought. ...I know I said before I don't know how to bake, but...I could try to help you, if you want me to. Back home I actually worked to try to run a restaurant with some friends of mine for a day, but it....didn't go so well. That, and I never really made any cakes during all that.
T-that doesn't mean I couldn't try again, though, if you can't find somebody else.
[JIMMY...Leader's deadpanning is now turned to his trainer, but he doesn't protest. Leave it to Jimmy to want to help no matter what.]

you're gonna be her very best slave her, jimmy, the very best one. just stand over there with bertholdt so you can teach him too-]Ehhhh, really? Well, I have someone to help me already... and from what you said, I don't think it's gonna be a good idea for me to put you in charge of food. Thanks for the heads-up!
[biiiiiitch] Unless you can help me comb the area, I don't think anyone can help until they're in Goldenrod City. But knowing thieves, they'd probably be running out of Goldenrod... or, rather, knowing the stupid thieves here, they're still in this city.
[gg pokémon]
video; filtered
Well, I guess I could? I don't know Goldenrod at all since I haven't been there yet, but I think I'll be there for a little while at least...if you haven't found your Pokemon by the time we get there, I wouldn't mind helping you look.
[Heck, he'd want help if HE lost his Pokemon.]
video; filtered
IS THAT A FUCKING CHALLENGEShe giggles at that.]You knooow, you should keep an eye on your own Pokémon, too... [No, that's said in an insulting fashion, not concerned. DREAM ON.] But I guess you could help me look! Just don't be too obvious and make people know you're looking for it, if you do that, you'll be more of an annoying dead weight than anything when they start avoiding you.
video; filtered
W-well you....you did make a public video about it. If whoever stole your Pokemon is around in Goldenrod, don't you think they would've seen it and left by now?
video; filtered
[Video Game Issues.] But they could still steal yours.
video; filtered
[Hopefully he doesn't have to send out an SOS over the network concerning missing Pokemon any time soon, because that's going to be easier said than done.]
video; filtered
[Saionji briefly contemplates stealing his Pokémon temporarily just for a moment. (She had too much pride to steal anything that would actually benefit her._
...Nah, too much trouble.] Especially with how you just trust people so easily! You have such a bleeding heart, being so kind and offering help to everyone who claims they need it... like the idiot protagonist of some story, just waiting for the devastating plot twist...
video; filtered
Well.....I'd rather be nice to someone in case they really do need help, instead of being mean or ignoring them! Not everyone has bad intentions.
[But.....most people do.]
....And even if they do, s'not gonna stop me from being nice to them.
[You attract more flies with honey than vinegar or something like that.]
video; filtered
[She's on the verge of breaking out in laughter, Jimmy! Oh, you sweet summer child!] Even if they wrong you over and over, and they should rightfully pay for what they do? You're just going to continue being nice to them?
What for? To hope they'll be so touched by your actions, they'll turn a new leaf? How ignorant. [The last two words are said with a lot of venom- even if she might be running off with his words and assuming far too much.] You might as well be encouraging them.
video; filtered
[Srry 2 say that spitefulness isn't the name of Jimmy's game. You could backstab him a hundred times and he'd still give you another chance. But who knows, maybe a few doses of reality will change that.
...maybe.]
video; filtered
[Maybe it will.]
video; filtered
[LIKE HE WAS TRYING TO DO WITH YOU, SAIONJI, DON'T YOU HAVE A LOST POKEMON TO FIND?]
video; filtered
Jimmy's innocence has extended past amusement to being absolutely unsettling. She really takes a long time to answer, this time.]
...So, you'll just help your friends, without outright confronting the perpetrators?
video; filtered
Yes. I mean, if whoever is bothering or hurting them is still at it, then I'll at least try to do something, if I can.
[This kid would probably take a bullet for a total stranger with almost zero hesitation.]
video; filtered
Don't do that. [Pause.] Oi, since you're gonna be my slave, you should know about the home your master came from! If anything, you should roughly know the standard I expect from you.
[That's not... nevermind. She just waits for him to say something, but regardless of the answer, she'll start rambling.]
video; filtered
Hm? ..W-well, uh....ok then. I'm listening!
video; filtered
Weeell, I came from the Saionji Household... the top power and clan when it came to classical Japanese dancing. That's partly why I'm so good at it!
Don't think it's just bloodline, though... I'm the Heiress, and was born with the talent and ability to live up to it! Not like my mother, who was a direct blood relation, but had a huge ego without anything to back up her words other than her heritage. [She says that with a bit of venom.]
Of cooourse, being a Heiress to a huge clan comes with a lot of jealousy! What do you think they did?
video; filtered
I guess it wasn't anything....good, huh?
video; filtered
[Teehee. She hadn't flung around any straightforward death threats other than torture, since this world functions on immortality, but...] Putting needles into shoes, arranging dead mice into futons... and poisoning food, deliberately dropping stage lights, setting snakes loose... people died, of course!
All for the sake of going higher up the ladder through disgusting means because they were too innately pathetic to ascend by talent. There's nothing more disgraceful than people without talent being jealous of those who have it! They should all have known their place- just like you!
video; filtered
G....gosh..
[Well you sure have lead a interesting yet absolutely dangerous life, haven't you?
And honestly Jimmy isn't sure what to say to that. Just....wow.]
I'm....I'm so sorry all that happened, Saionji! But...everything turned out ok, right? ..I mean, you're....ok...
[I hope you realize he's missing the ENTIRE point of this story, because that's exactly what's happening right now.]
video; filtered
[...That kind of pains her a bit, you know, STOP BEING SO FUCKING BRIGHT.] That's not the end, though- you know, in my world, cute little girls like me are in high demand. People are extra sticky with me, and keep an eye out, especially when they have talent like I do.
[Pause.] Have you heard of the dance nakazo kyouran? It’s about a dad who went crazy. But actually, he was just pretending to be crazy- for his daughter. Can you guess why?
video; filtered
Nnno, I haven't heard of that.
And I....I dunno, why?
video; filtered
Figured, you don't know enough to guess. [Sigh.] The dad went crazy in order to distract attention and protect his daughter from a perverted erotic company!
In the story, the big villain gets but on trial, and everyone lives happily ever after. But, though you might not think it, real life doesn't work that way.
Not everyone gets a happy ending! And not my own dad. [Wait backtrack what-] Because he did that, my grandma had to evict my parents from our clan, and away from me. Family pride is everything to her... she'd much rather disown her children than carry the stain of a crazed son.
[...Well, Jimmy?] Of course, Granny takes super good care of me! But I guess that's expected, since I'm the Heiress.
video; filtered
[This time, Jimmy takes a bit longer to respond, stiffly folding his hands in his lap. Even Leader's attention has been grabbed, who otherwise was ignoring the conversation entirely.]
So....your dad?....
[It wasn't going to be hard in the first place, but you have legitimately made Jimmy feel bad for you, Saionji. Like, reeeally bad. Any shortcomings you've had with him, say, regarding fakey made up islands has suddenly been brushed under the rug entirely.]
I'm....real sorry. I don't have parents, so I don't know what that must've been like. ...Must've been awful.
[Jimmy doesn't say that with any sadness, either. He never lost his own- rather, he never knew them to begin with. They may as well never have existed.]
