It's a bit dumb and overused, that in all the stories, the hero always wins. I have a thing for books where the hero is perceived by the reader as a villain. [Oh god if she ever finds out that Komaeda liked a book like that too...] But this is a kid's story, so it'll probably be a clear-cut, lame Good verses Evil thing where good triumphs. Pfft.
