Heh, well, for me personally- someone who I can trust. If I were ever in trouble, then they'd want to help as much as they could not because if we don't then we're told we're not a good person, but just because they're worried and care for me that much.
And vice versa. I want to feel that kind of emotion too. Well... I suppose that isn't quite right. I don't want to feel it, but I want to know that I'm able to. It sounds contradictory, doesn't it? In a perfect world, ideally, two friends could just share all the good things and be perfectly happy.
But even in a place like this, bad and scary things still happen. Sometimes they're really horrible, like being attacked, and other times they're a bit smaller like you've just been spending the day in a bad mood.
With that in mind... It's important to have a friend you can place that kind of trust in. To trust that whatever happens, they'll help you get back up again and weather through things.
In return, that kind of friendship makes you want to do the same in return. It makes you want to give as much as you get.
There's a lot of things that make up an ideal kind of friend, now that you've got me thinking of it. It's a lot of little things that all seem to add up. Some of them bigger than others, but still all together making up something good. Like being able to just sit in the same room together and feel comfortable, or feeling like you're not as scared when they're by your side. Being glad when you see their name come up on the phone. Lots of things like that.

It sounds mushy when I say that out loud, heh!
