which is dumb to follow but for the sake of argument
so B gets into trouble and by A's point of view they've done nothing but horrible things to them
and A still helps B out of trouble without any way of using the situation to make them 'owe one' or blackmail

Anyways there's also selfish reasons that don't look to extort something from bee. I've had to go to lengths to save the life of someone who belittled and even tried to kill me and it certainly wasn't my idea but I won't say it didn't satisfy me at least a bit to hold such power over him.
